“أقدم من الأهرامات”.. السعودية تعلن عن اكتشاف أثري هام
أعلن وزير الثقافة السعودي الأمير بدر بن عبد الله بن فرحان، عن اكتشاف أثري هام شمال غربي المملكة يتجاوز عمره 7 آلاف سنة.
وقال الوزير في تغريدة بحسابه على تويتر: “اكتشاف أثري مهم في شمال غرب المملكة العربية السعودية، يؤكد أن الهياكل الحجرية الضخمة (المستطيلات)، تعدّ من الأقدم في العالم (يتجاوز عمرها 7000 عام)”.
وشارك ابن فرحان في تغريدته رابط لدراسة أمريكية تشير إلى أن الاكتشاف الأثري الهام في شمال غربي السعودية، يؤكد أن الهياكل الحجرية أو المستطيلات الحجرية تعدّ من أقدم الآثار في العالم.
وذكرت صحيفة “عاجل” المحلية أن الدراسة تشير إلى أن “المستطيلات الحجرية تعد أقدم من الأهرامات المصرية، وكذلك الدوائر الحجرية القديمة في بريطانيا، وربما تكون أقدم أثر في العالم”.
