واشنطن – سبوتنيك: التقى الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن، الجمعة، برئيس الموساد الإسرائيلي، يوسي كوهين، حيث ناقشا الملف الإيراني.

وبحسب ما أفاد به مصدر لموقع “أكسيوس” الأمريكي لم يكن الاجتماع الذي عقد يوم الجمعة، مخططا له مسبقاً وتم تنظيمه في وقت قصير أثناء وجود كوهين بواشنطن العاصمة لأهداف أخرى.

ولفت المصدر إلى أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو تحدث إلى كوهين قبل اللقاء مع بايدن، كما تلقى منه بعده موجزًا عما دار فيه.

وفي السياق ذاته التقى مستشار الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي مئير بن شبات بنظيره الأمريكي جيك سوليفان، خلال الأسبوع المنصرم، في مقر السفارة الإسرائيلية بواشنطن، لبحث ما وصفته الصحيفة بـ”التهديد الإيراني”، دون أن تحدد أي يوم عُقد اللقاء.

وغادر الوفد الإسرائيلي إلى واشنطن الأسبوع الماضي، بهدف إيصال رسالة من نتنياهو مفادها أن العودة للاتفاق النووي تهديد لإسرائيل، وأنها لا ترحب بمحادثات فيينا التي تناقش فيها إيران وأطراف دولية سبل عودة واشنطن إلى الاتفاق الذي توصلت إليه هذه الأطراف الدولية مع إيران عام 2015، بحسب الإعلام العبري.

وانطلقت مؤخرا في فيينا مفاوضات لإحياء “الاتفاق النووي” بين إيران والولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا وفرنسا والصين وروسيا وألمانيا، وتهدف لإعادة واشنطن إلى الاتفاق النووي وتمهيد الطريق لتراجع إيران عن تملصها من القيود التي فرضت عليها بموجبه.

والأربعاء، أفادت صحيفة “وول ستريت جورنال”، أن إدارة بايدن: “منفتحة لتخفيف بعض العقوبات ضد العناصر الأساسية في الاقتصاد الإيراني، بما في ذلك النفط والتمويل، في محاولة لدفع المحادثات في فيينا، وتضييق الخلافات في المحادثات النووية الجارية”.

وانسحب الرئيس الأمريكي السابق دونالد ترامب من جانب واحد من الاتفاق النووي مع إيران عام 2018، وفرض عليها عقوبات.
