تستضيف دار الأوبرا بالحي الثقافي كتارا بالعاصمة القطرية الدوحة قرعة بطولة كأس العرب FIFA 2021، يوم الثلاثاء 27 أبريل/نيسان 2021.
وأصدر الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم ”فيفا“ بيانًا قال فيه: إن قرعة البطولة، التي سيُشارك في منافساتها 23 منتخباً عربياً، ستشهد حضور عدد محدود من المسؤولين تماشياً مع الإجراءات الاحترازية للحد من انتشار وباء COVID-19.
بطولة كأس العرب التي ستنظمها قطر، ستقام خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 18 ديسمبر 2021 بمشاركة جميع المنتخبات العربية، والتي تعد بروفة قبل انطلاق بطولة كأس العالم 2022.
وتضم قائمة الفرق المشاركة في البطولة كلا من قطر، البلد المستضيف، والجزائر والبحرين وجزر القمر وجيبوتي ومصر والعراق والأردن والكويت ولبنان وليبيا وموريتانيا والمغرب وعمان وفلسطين والسعودية والصومال وجنوب السودان والسودان وسوريا وتونس والإمارات العربية المتحدة واليمن.
وسيتم تنظيم مباريات البطولة على ستة من استادات قطر التي ستستضيف مباريات كأس العالم 2022.
